The Trailokya Silver Necklace ( त्रैलोक्य ): A Legacy of Faith and Craftsmanship
Trailokya Silver Necklace draws inspiration from traditional rudraksha malai or linga padakka, originated from Tamil Nadu. Historically worn by men over the age of eighteen and by Shaivite priests. The original pendant was made to serve as a container. It holds a movable lingam, a symbolic representation of Shiva's creative energy, and sacred ashes (vibhuti), associated with Shiva's practice of smearing his body.
Trailokya Silver Necklace is Moha's attempt to resonate with the cultural and spiritual significance of Linga Padakka.
The necklace features a strand of rudraksha seeds (drupe nuts), each strung and separated by spacer silver beads. At the center of the necklace is a pendant depicting Lord Shiva, with Nandi, his bull vahana (vehicle), on either side. This imagery reflects the necklace's connection to Shaivite faith and its representation of divine presence. This combination of natural elements and metalwork contributes to the necklace's distinct texture.
This feature gives the necklace a dual function as both adornment and a personal object of devotion.
