Spellbound and inspired by the rare and beautiful craftsmanship belonging to the Harappan era, Moha has launched yet another unique and ethnic series - The Harappa series! Creating and handcrafting an elaborate silver jewellery series based on the elements of historical origins; especially ones of the world renowned Harappan era; is a task which requires effort. Making these ancient and beautiful forms suitable for the current woman and her lifestyle was another challenge. Thus, a lot of research, meetups with art and history experts and attempts to preserve the historic meaning behind each of the Harappan forms utilised has gone behind each beautifully crafted piece belonging to the 'Harappa Collection'.

This necklace has two Pashupati pendants positioned between layers of two types of carnelian stones; the yellow carnelian and the brown carnelian. The Pashupati figurine is seen on many ancient objects found in the Harappan excavations. The Pashupati was said to be the deity of the Harappans. This deity’s form was observed on a seal from Mohenjo-daro and he was believed to be the Lord of animals. He is also said to be the Fire God Agni. This seal also depicts the earliest known Shiva cult. We have utilised this interesting seated yogi figurine seen on the Harappan seals to make our handcrafted silver jewellery pieces.
