Spellbound and inspired by the rare and beautiful craftsmanship belonging to the Harappan era, Moha has launched yet another unique and ethnic series - The Harappa series! Creating and handcrafting an elaborate silver jewellery series based on the elements of historical origins; especially ones of the world renowned Harappan era; is a task which requires effort. Making these ancient and beautiful forms suitable for the current woman and her lifestyle was another challenge. Thus, a lot of research, meetups with art and history experts and attempts to preserve the historic meaning behind each of the Harappan forms utilised has gone behind each beautifully crafted piece belonging to the 'Harappa Collection'.

This ring from the collection has the iconic Harappan motif of the bull seal on them. The bull seal is a majestic form seen in almost all Indus valley excavations and sites, mostly in Mohenjo-Daro and at Harappa and its stone carved form stands as a symbol for the powerful clans. The seal depicts a ‘zebu’ bull with a hump. A little Harappan text is also seen on the seal. The bull is said to possess strength and to ensure species procreation. Some sources have also stated that it might be a sacrificial animal. This awe inspiring seal is seen widely on pottery, figurines and on many other things excavated at these sites.

We have also added genuine lapiz lazuli stones to complement the silver. This was one of the key stones seen during that era. The ring is adjustable to fit any finger size which makes it a perfect fit.

If you love quality silver jewelry, unique designs and pieces that have history running deep within them - the pieces from the Harappa series will not fail to enchant you!
