These particular earrings are based on the harappan figurine of the Unicorn and the pipal leaf. The Unicorn has been repeatedly noticed on Harappan seals and has been stated to be an important glyptic art form. The unicorn is a composite animal of a bull and a horse. These (products) are crafted to each resemble the seal found at Mohenjo-Daro. The seal clearly illustrates two unicorn heads in an entwined fashion under a pipal tree. In India, the pipal is said to be the Tree of Creation. This form is stated to be of mythological importance to the Harappans. This is a very artistically appealing and symmetrical Harappan form.
