Shine as bright as the diyas this Diwali by adding in our pretty Mogra danglers to your festive shopping list. These beauties are a part of our 'Revival series' and have been designed by acknowledging our traditional aesthetics. Our mogras are studded with corals and lapiz lazuli stones and have been filled in with green meenakari which adds in that bright element you need to amp up your festive attire.

The ‘Mogra’ earrings are the revived form of the ‘Kurak’ earrings. These ‘Kurak’ have originated from the Barmar region and are adorned by the Sindhi Muslims or the Hindu Meghwal. Specialised by their glass inlay work done by the Hindu artisans of the Barmar district, these earrings are gifted to the bride by her parents at the time of her marriage. They are not worn in the current times anymore although some rich members of several groups of Sindhi Muslims still use these. Moha has revived these by modifying some of the Kurak’s features. We have used meenakari instead of the glass inlay work to make them even more attractive as well as to provide a good finish to them. The fall of the design has also been changed. The traditional Kurak earrings had a flat metal dangle which we have modified to a post to make wearing it easier when it comes to today’s day to day lifestyle of the modern woman.

Buy these for yourself or as gifts which your loved ones simply cannot refuse!
